This training is being funded by Florida AWARE (Advancing Wellness & Resiliency in Education), a State Education Agency “Now is the Time” Program, awarded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration to the Florida Department of Education with a subagreement to the University of South Florida.
This training is FREE to Professionals/Parents/Guardians/Graduate Students serving youth (ages 12-18)
Daily Parking at the University of South Florida is a flat $5.00 fee
Lunch is on your own (45-minutes); two additional breaks will be provided throughout the training day
Per the National Council for Behavioral Health, every participant must complete the training in its entirety in order to become a certified Youth Mental Health First Aider
